When is the new airport in Bangkok going to be in operation? Will the airport have day rooms? airport hotel?

I plan to travel via Bangkok begining of this October. I have an early morning (4 a.m.) connecting flight and will have no time to go to a hotel in the city? I need to know if the new airport will be in operation by then and also if the airport will have dayrooms or a convenient airport hotel.
According to the schedule,New Bangkok International Airport, Suvannabhumi International Airport, will be open by the end of July. Not sure about the exact date. As there is highly possibility to postpone the opening date. But you can go and check the news at http://www.suvarnabhumiairport.com/
