He laid the foundation to his design career by making pots at a summer camp in 1978, discovering his passion. After studying semiotics and art history at Brown University, Jonathan turned his passion into a fulltime job. Jonathan Adler further developed his career by expanding his design into new categories including lighting, bedding, towels, and stationery. His lighting designs have been celebrated for the modern shapes, energetic colors, and exciting patterns that are the hallmark of all of his work today.
